Ensuite direction le terril de Rieulay puis retour par Bouvignies et Coutiches. M\u00eame si c&rsquo;\u00e9tait la seconde \u00e9dition, ce fut la premi\u00e8re fois qu&rsquo;il y ait eu autant de monde. En effet, en 2016, les pauvres organisateurs ont eu la malchance d&rsquo;essuyer une temp\u00eate automnale refroidissant l&rsquo;ardeur de la majorit\u00e9 des v\u00e9t\u00e9tistes du dimanche matin. Cette ann\u00e9e, ce fut l&rsquo;inverse, car un magnifique ciel bleu nous accompagnera toute la matin\u00e9e !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 la salle vers 8h00, nous d\u00e9couvrons une salle d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien remplie. Les inscriptions se font cependant assez rapidement. Apr\u00e8s quelques chemins agricoles, on arrive au terril du Pommier. On d\u00e9couvre avec bonheur ce nouveau passage. Quelques petites grimpettes et quelques singles font notre joie. Dommage qu&rsquo;on ait \u00e0 plusieurs reprises du chercher les fl\u00e8ches blanches \u00e0 terre (parfois effac\u00e9es par la pluie de la veille ou les v\u00e9los&#8230;) et la rubalise (souvent plac\u00e9e trop \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 ou absente).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apr\u00e8s ces quelques petits tracas d&rsquo;orientation, on reprend les chemins habituels pour trouver le point d&rsquo;orgue de la matin\u00e9e : le grand terril d&rsquo;Henin-Baumont au pied d&rsquo;Aquaterra. A la diff\u00e9rence de la rando de Rouvroy, on montera sur la butte \u00e0 l&rsquo;envers. Tous nos efforts pour grimper au sommet ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9s par une longue descente d\u00e9val\u00e9e \u00e0 vive allure. Le VTT d&rsquo;Arnaud n&rsquo;arr\u00eatait pas de faire des sauts de cabri ! Dommage que ma nouvelle fixation de cam\u00e9ra sur le guidon n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas arriv\u00e9e, y&rsquo;avait une belle vid\u00e9o \u00e0 faire !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apr\u00e8s quelques (longs) singles, il \u00e9tait enfin temps de trouver le premier ravito (au bout de 23 km quand m\u00eame !). Ouf, on a enfin pu recharger les accus apr\u00e8s tous ces passages techniques souvent \u00e9prouvant. Le stand \u00e9tait h\u00e9las mal positionn\u00e9. En effet, peu de place pour les tr\u00e8s nombreux randonneurs pr\u00e9sents ce matin. Comme \u00e0 Sallaumines, il est bien exploit\u00e9, et la pluie de la veille l&rsquo;a rendu bien humide, mais tout s&rsquo;est bien pass\u00e9. La gadoue assez fluide ne collait pas. Quelle joie ensuite de zigzaguer entre les arbres, de monter, descendre toutes ces parties ludiques. On s&rsquo;est encore bien amus\u00e9s. Peu de r\u00e9pit, mais m\u00eame si le trac\u00e9 est exigeant, la difficult\u00e9 est bien dilu\u00e9e le long du parcours, et on n&rsquo;est jamais \u00e0 court de jus. Vers Sallaumines, on arrive au second ravito, qui sera h\u00e9las d\u00e9valis\u00e9 \u00e0 notre arriv\u00e9e ! Ne restaient que de l&rsquo;eau aromatis\u00e9 (\u00e0 la pamplemousse, premi\u00e8re fois que j&rsquo;en prenais et ce n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able) et quelques oranges !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ensuite, apr\u00e8s (encore) quelques singles dans un sous-bois o\u00f9 les bouleaux nous laissaient un passage bien \u00e9troit mais tr\u00e8s ludique, on arrive enfin au terril de M\u00e9ricourt. Moins imposant que Fouqui\u00e8res ou Henin, il reste n\u00e9anmoins sympathique. Les kilom\u00e8tres s&rsquo;enchainent donc toujours sans r\u00e9pit. Apr\u00e8s un long faux plat au milieu des champs, on arrive ENFIN aux alentours de Drocourt. Certes, l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e n&rsquo;est pas directe, mais la salle apparait apr\u00e8s plus de 3h30 de roulage. Ils seront bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apr\u00e8s avoir rempli son estomac, il \u00e9tait temps de laver les montures qui en avaient bien besoin ! On se demande toujours comment on arrive \u00e0 passer ses vitesses et ses plateaux avec autant de boue coll\u00e9e au v\u00e9lo ! 4 jets efficaces \u00e9taient disponibles. Un peu d&rsquo;attente, mais \u00e7a allait \u00e0 l&rsquo;heure (tardive) o\u00f9 on est pass\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, un trac\u00e9 exigeant (du moins sur le grand parcours), technique avec \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de singles et de terrils. Tr\u00e8s peu de bitume. Jamais ennuyeux, il fallait cependant faire attention au fl\u00e9chage \u00e0 terre (parfois peu visible) et aux rubalises parfois mal plac\u00e9es. Evitez \u00e9galement de bomber les arbres, c&rsquo;est pas tr\u00e8s \u00e9colo&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Pour le reste, ne changez rien. Le parcours \u00e9tait top ! Avec de bonnes jambes, on passe une magnifique matin\u00e9e.
